ABOUT

Trinity Koch is a Brisbane (Meanjin) based visual artist who works across video, performance documentation, photomedia, and installation. In her practice, Koch explores the connection of the human body and natural world. This connection is explored through the lens of nature-based spirituality, environmental concerns, and the domestic sphere. From this space, she engages with the contradictory nature of caring deeply about the earth in an era where the human is implicated in nature’s damage and destruction.

Koch is in her final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. She is also interested in curation, gallery management, and writing. Koch recently undertook an internship at Metro Arts, Brisbane as Assistant to Curator with Kyle Weise. Presently, she is an organizing member of Concrete Circle ARI.
